Edge Decoration

The edges of a book can provide an additional avenue  to when it comes to designing.  Whether it be traditional gilding in gold or silver, solid colour edge tinting, marbling, or even an image on the edge. We can quite probably do it. A constraint is often the quality of the paper. Of interesst: Bank Ledgers traditionally had extravagent marbling on the edges to stop pages being removed which would damage the design, and consequently be discovered at a glance.
